I have no idea why, and I dont know if I will
even be able to upload this, but the team site, and all
functions at www.vr9.com are
down! This is very very annoying, but hopefully will
resolve soon.

A hectic week here in Adelaide, and not too many people
sent things in. It seems that VR9 had a few problems as
well with a fair bit of down time... hopefully that is all
fixed now. We actually went a little backwards for the
first time ever, with TOMaxwell leaving the team for another
group. We wish him all the best in his new team, and
keep crunching hard.

A BIG hello to anyone looking at our site after a little email
from me!
Today I got bored working backwards and randomly looked at
"L"
For the couple of months and a bit I have slowly been working
through the official SETI Profiles. Having a little read (especially
of the crazy ones) and sending out an email to people that
aren't in a team saying "Helloplease considered us!".
Progress is very slow as I started with "Z" and
got to "P" last week. But I jumped to
"L" today, just for something different.
So a BIG HELLO to all people who read this... have a look
around, feel free to write me an email or reply to the one you
have got (zain.upton@seti.vr9.com).
Keep crunching hard, and we would love you to join up with
us in our team of SETI Enthusiasts!

TOMaxwell let us know about his old University,
so we added it to our growing list of schools and universities that our members

at Harrison High School in Indiana. A big HI to all

Update # 43Stats - 335 Members, 196253 Work Units

There we go back to the normal updates. Not a bad
week overall! 11 new members, 4K Work Units. We
keep flying up the Top 200 list, and even better still members
seem to really be enjoying the things offered at this
site. Remember if you have a suggestion for something
just let us know.
**COOL CHANGE** To our Weekly Detailed Member Stats
The tables were getting quite big, and those with
slower connections were taking over a minute and a half to
download each table! So I have reworked them a
bit. Same tables, now with options to look at 100
members at a time. Go check it out! (Thanks to Zmadian
for picking up a little bug I had missed)

Another member from a NEW country!
"Pablo Trincavelli" joins from ARGENTINA (new Subgroup

We now have members from 36 countries! WOOOHOOOOO.
If you know anyone that
has a computer and isn't running SETI, get them in SETI! A neighbour, a friend, a family member, or even
people overseas! We love everyone in our team, and
hopefully one day will have members from ALL around the
world. Lets get that country count up.
"Team Subgroups" are
one thing that our team, and no other team (that I know of)
does. They are little lists of members that have things in common. Country
Subgroups are our most popular, where you can see who else in
our team comes from your special place in the world.
Other subgroups we have currently include School/University,
Online games, and we are always looking to make more.

Update # 42Stats - 324 Members, 191822 Work Units
complete (up from 309 Members, 170583 WUs 20 days ago)
Been longer than normal between updates (mainly due to me
being interstate with study). Never the less, an amazing
nearly 2 weeks with nearly 20 more members and 20K work
units! We are now churning up the top 200 list of ALL
SETI teams!
Ninth became our #1 member again this week, taking nearly 8
months to catch Matchles! A great achievement passing
over 17K work units!
