 Update # 38

Stats - 228 Members,  134010 Work Units complete,  224.01 CPU years time!

Been a little while coming, but now the servers are back and stable, and I am back in my routine at Uni things should run smoothly again.  Our email server deleted half my mail, so send in all those Gaussians, Subgroups, Profiles etc again and I can get them updated.

Make sure to check our extensive weekly stats is the place to look to see how you compare to all our other members in many fields.  You may not have the most work units, but how do you rank in work unit time, biggest movers and shakers etc?  (updated today 27th January)  (Extensive Weekly Stats)

3 GREAT members that have been with us a LONG time.  Aidan is an old friend of mine that I probably should catch up with more here in Adelaide, Impakt came to us WAY WAY WAY back when, and is slowly but surely rising through the ranks, and AardLasher is the creator and head admin of a MUD I have been playing for 4 years called "Aardwolf MUD".

A BIG update happening tonight, and over the next few nights.

As many of you have found out we haven't been updated in a while.  A serious series of unfortunate issues popped up.  First the vr9 server (our host) was dead with HUGE snow storms in Canada.  That also knocked out email so no-one could contact me (now fixed)

Then our uni servers died with a power transformer exploding not to far from here.  This power surge blew up a few of the computers.  And then if that wasn't enough, the Uni then found a security leak and shut down the servers for more time until it was fixed!

Very frustrating for me, but now it is all good, email working, page working, and updates coming!  NEVER fear, SETI lives for ever!

So start sending in your personal profiles, sub groups, getting new members, Gaussians etc.  The bad news is if you have sent it to be from the 1st until the 25th of January I have not got it.  The email servers died a horrible death, and all messages on them went *poof*.  So start sending them in again, and I can get working!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!  It is amazing it has gone so fast... I just had to say that cause everyone does *grin*.  We haven't done to badly at all this year... going form not even existing to nearly in the top 200 teams of ALL TIME!  I wonder if we will make it this year?
